The Guzman-Sanchez Study™ that began in 1983, has finally been completed. Tracing the entire origin, evolution and history of Urban Dance or what the world today calls breakdance or hip-hop dance.
The Guzman-Sanchez Study™ has evolved into a 144 minute feature documentary called "Underground Dance Masters: Final History of a Forgotten Era" that is rewriting history. The 1996 version was sadly not correct and it has taken 11 years to finally find the truth. The challenge was getting past the lies and personal agenda that certain old dancers tried to promote. The July 18th premiere will now take place at the Reseda High Theater. All of the cast including Kenny Ortega are invited to the red carpet event.
The 2008 Urban Dance Training Camp™ will commence July 12, 2008 and include the chance to perform at the LA film premiere of the film.
