EARLY REGISTRATION PRICE for these IUDMA events is as follows:
2008 URBAN DANCE TRAINING CAMP™:
$475.00 (US) for both Locking and Popping.
Early registration discount on those paid in full by June 11th. After deadline will add $100. Total standard fee $575. Fee includes membership to the IUDMA. (It does not include any food, travel, hotel or admission to the premier. Price for titcket to the film is $16 .

All participants of these events must be paid in full by the set deadlines to receive an early bird discount price. Anyone signing up after will pay an added fee as posted to each amount.

The camp will take place based on a minimum of 20 participants per camp. If the event or a certain camp is canceled for any reason all paid participants will be notified by E-mail no later than June 1st and will have the opportunity to either participate in another camp or all monies paid will be refunded minus postage and processing fee.
We cannot guarantee space to those who pay on the day of the event at the studio.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone.

2008 Urban Dance Training Camp™ is July 12-16 and includes an oppurtunity to perform at the July 18th L.A. premiere of UDM film.
The Event
For committed dancers seeking a transcendent learning experience, the IUDMA proudly announces the 8th Urban Dance Training Camp™. This world renowned 5 day training camp takes place in Northridge, CA on July 12-16 and will conclude with the premier of the new film "Underground Dance Masters: Final History of a Forgotten Era" and live performance at the RESEDA HIGH Theater in Reseda, CA. The event is sponsored by the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs. The 5 days will consist of 6 hours daily of intensive, exhaustive urban street dance instruction and philosophy. This years camp will include a unique chance that perform at the LA premiere. All IUDMA members are entitled to a 5% discount off the total price of the camp only.
OG pioneers T-Bopper and Cool Pockets will instruct all sessions. Through their mastery as teachers they will be personally helping to elevate each participants skills to a higher level. Each class is based on the acclaimed "The Seven Levels: Chain Reaction System" instruction series, "SEVEN LEVELS OF LOCKING" and "SEVEN LEVELS OF POPPING." and also Cool Pockets Open Hand style. These Urban Dance styles -- the essential building blocks of modern "hip hop style dance" -- will be taught with a focus on foundation and technique. As students the world over have learned, the IUDMA Urban Dance Training Camp is more than a mere dance "workshop." Students graduate with substantially improved skills, technique and knowledge.

The Urban Dance Training Camp features two 3-hour sessions daily. Both beginners and advanced dancers are invited and encouraged to participate. Students who train under the Seven Levels: Chain Reaction system report a skill retention rate far superior than dancers using other methods. The camp will take place at the Dance Center studio in Northridge CA. This is NOT a convention, and there are no battle circles. Participants under 18 are welcome, but please be aware that this is a intense training event. If you are seriously interested in advancing your skills, then you are welcome, with parental consent. Students results will vary, according to their individual abilities, retention and desire. Appropriate clothing for each style of dance will be required. There may be tests at the end of training for certification of levels at no extra charge.
If you plan to attend, IUDMA™ strongly recommends that you begin training prior to your arrival with the "Seven Levels of Locking #1" and "Seven Levels of Popping #1". This will allow you to maximize your learning experience and make the absolute most of the Urba Dance Training Camp™.
